Is there a list of Item Codes anywhere?
So, I screwed up and accidentally dropped a vital item, the Bloody Handkerchief, Somewhere in Sigil. Managed to turn on the console commands, but can't find a way of getting the list of item codes you need to type into that to spawn items. I found this one (http://bootstrike.com/Torment/Online/tnfo5.php) which unfortunately doesn't have the quest item I need. I've hunted around a fair bit for it, and I've tried a large number of possibilities and none have worked, so resorting to asking for help. It would be massively appreciated.

TormentHack v1.18 might help you with that, i have no idea if it works for this version of Planescape though. http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/Torment/index_editors.php

Yes! Thank you very much, if you download that there's a text file with the codes I needed. For anyone else as dumb as me, the itemcode was BHANKY.
Awesome :)

You can buy handkerchief from one of the merchants in Lower Ward (where there are 3 or 4 merchants in one building). At least it was the case in the original, not sure about this version.
This version is the same, as we have stated several times Goral. Yes, you can get a hankerchief at a bunch of diffrent places, but i do not think you can convince Kesai-Serris to donate some of her blood on a handkerchief a second time

Think I need to use an editor.

Lost the Ingress' Teeth for Morte because I was too preoccupied with chasing after him to realize when he leaves the party for a moment it drops all of his items on the ground, and too much time has passed so most of the stuff vanished.

Its really bugging me, though the Teeth were the only vital thing that went missing.
Just what I need.

Thank you very much

I also lost an item.

The game is terrible at making sure that the player doesn't drop quest items. There's so few inventory space that you easily discard books and letters that don't matter.
Same as a lot of diaries and such.

How was I supposed to know that the receipt from the advocate as a legacy wasn't a more important quest item than the love letter or some other trash?

Maybe developers could emphasize these items and prevent the player from ever dropping them?

Kinda makes the game impossible without guides and internet connection.

Unfortunately

Find the Planescape.lua file
Open this file up using a NotePad, Wordpad
Add this line to the file

SetPrivateProfileString('Program Options','Debug Mode','1')

Save the file (be sure it remains a .Lua file)

Makes the game go back to the OpenGL error again.

Ok, now it works because I just need to have in my baldur.lua file forced the Directx processing of graphics and not through OpenGL.
But I have no idea how to create stuff here.

C:CreateItem( 1 Scroll Godman Receipt RECEIPT ) isn't accepted.

I feel awfully like spamming because the world is cruel to make me do all of it manually.
Anderson 11. Juli 2018 um 10:43
Okay so it was C:CreateItem ("Scroll Godsman Receipt RECEIPT")

all this time.

Now I can move on.

I don't feel like an idiot because I played lots of RPG's and Adventure games but usually, in other games you really have to try hard to get in a situation like this.

Quest items should not be droppable. PERIOD!
