Starting stats help please! :D
So i read a lot of lore etc... I was thinking of 14 con for the starting hp bonus that can't be reached through adding con in levels. And highest wisdom and some int. Then i can level wisdom through levels, grab mage class and buy an int+2 tattoo? For good int? Or will my lower int affect mage and learning spels at first? I badly need help! Please

Edit: That also means my charisma will suck and no snapping necks dexterity o.o

Having high Con is definitely nice for survivability and eventually the regeneration rate. I don't think I've ever started with anything like a 14 Con though. I usually find myself putting points into it through levelups eventually, as well as aiming to be Lawful Good to use the two Tears of Saleu-Dei.

I'd say as long as your starting Int is a least moderate, like 14 or 15, you should be okay as a Mage as long as you continue to put some points into it and use Tattoos.

Always prioritize Wis, Int, and Cha, mostly in that order. Think of it this way: your companions can fight for you, but they can't solve puzzles or unlock dialogue options for you.

I agree to this if you want to "see" most of the game.

1) You will want 18 Wis, and you *will* want to boost it constantly. End of story. There's a +2 Wis tattoo, and it's always a good thing to wear, so get yourself to 23 Wis and use that until your natural Wis reaches 25 and you can ditch the tattoo.

2) If you start with 17 Int and plan on being a Mage (Mages are awesome), then you can safely *not* increase it at all during level-ups. Seriously. Level 7 as a Mage gets you +1 Int, Level 12 gets you +2 Int and +1 Wis, and the Level 12 Mage tattoo gives you +3 Int. And then there's the normal +2 Int one. That's +8. 17 + 8 = 25.

3) With 18 Wis and 17 Int, that allows you to have 13 Cha right from the start, which gets you a little extra money from some quests. Boosting Cha from level-ups after you've taken Wis as far as you want to is a good idea. I mean, your party members can fight in melee for you. It's not a big deal.

So in other words: 17 Int, 18 Wis, 13 Cha.

I went

STR 9, DEX 9, CON 9, Int 17, WIS 18, Car 13.

which seems to be good starting stats. really digging the game again, been ages since I last played it.

I'm almost with Matthew myself. I just opted for 13 Dex. There are some neat things 13 dex opens up.

are there? then again this char will be a mage, so having a high int right of the bat seems to be a good idea, still, there is a lot of choices in the game.

Yeah. I'm mostly hinting at grabbing the hand of pickpockets. Or snapping peoples neck (11 needed I think). It's the fun stuff I don't want to miss out on.

In The end all my stats will be maxed anyway unless a certain bug has been fixed.

high constitution let you regenerate at 25 you are regenerating faster than a super troll.

As a warrior at some points you can wipe the floor with everything.
never tried as a mage, but the high end warrior is a killing machine.
