Yes definitely (although I can understand why they didn't. Could confuse new people to the game thinking they are essential rather than a bit of fun)

Simple question. Where is(or should be) the override folder, can`t seem to find it?

you create it in the main game folder (the one with the .exe.
Just extract the files to it. (The files in the Morte folder in the Morte mod-archive, not the folder itself)

You should add it to your game folder which contains the chitin.key.
