Trainers for magic?
Hey.

I'm a bit confused as to how training works exactly after I just read the manual posted here on the forum. I see that the Nameless One has Proficiency points, but they seem to only count for weapon skills. That is, if I switch to a Warrior, I can use those points to train various weapon skills with the right trainer (Fists, Edged Weapons, etc..) Is that right? Are those points used for anything else for the other classes? I'm a Mage and switched to Warrior to learn a couple levels of Daggers (which turned out to just train Edged Weapons in general. I don't see anything specific for Daggers on the character sheet) and then switched back to Mage so I could continue learning spells and being a Mage but being a Mage with a few weapon skills. I'm wondering if I am missing something with Mage training that those points could be used for. Please no spoilers but I am quite far into the game, after talking to a certain Forked-Tongue character if you get my drift.

Thanks in advance!

Hey there! No, Proficiency points are used only to train weapon skills, nothing more.

*Know* that you have my thanks, Zerthimon.

In knowing the teachings of Zerthimon you've become stronger.

Indeed. Hopefully strong enough to defeat The Moridor's Box Fiend that I'm trying to fight now!

Aaaah, Curst Gone. Yeah, I remember that cutter. Worth 500k XP and nice ring.

Yep. The ring is *really* nice, but I seem to have been hit with a bug that didn't give me the 500k XP. Is there some way to edit the save file with some sort of app to just give my party an additional 500k?
