It may have something to do with an engine file. Here’s some ideas you can try:
Every time you get an error while trying to play a game on steam. It’s always worth trying to verify the integrity of your game files.
But, that might not always fix it. Although if there is an issue, it should tell you. Sometimes files get lost in other folders.
