Less than 6 people?

Is there any way to play this game with less than 6 people? I would like to only be with my friends and not too many people own the game that I know. Is this a feature that will be added? If not, I might return it.

Less? don't u mean 6 people?
Less than 6 people it will be unfair for the infected guy cus he'll be alone.
Devs said they are fixing stuff so it never starts with less than 6 players, i've been in 5 player game situation and trust me, u dont wanna be in that situation if u're infected.
Game is alot harder that way

No just as an option for a private match; its doesnt matter to me if we were able to host a private match with 4 people and only have 1 infected. That's the point of me only wanting to play with just my friends.

There's an option for local play/lan play but i don't know anything about it because i never used it before.
