Each rebirth this is then multiplied by 1 + however many convert speed upgrades you have done so far that rebirth, which then gives you the figure of how much divinity of inputs you are converting per second (if you hover over the divinity/s figure and get the tooltip, this is the figure on the left of the multiplication it shows).
The second part is the combination of your multiplier - shown in brackets after the Divinity Generator title which will increase during rebirths in some cases (if you have unlocked crystals and use battle or ultimate crystals or if you have the FSM pet as he levels up each rebirth). This percentage is then multiplied with 2 + Divinity Gain upgrades you have made so far this rebirth, the result of this calculation is the right hand side of the multiplication it shows when hovering over the divinity/s figure.
Generation speed with my generator. I never fought any ultimate beings and just defeated amaterasu.
That's the base, and it represents how fast value is getting drained out of the divgen's internal capacity. The "converting speed" upgrade acts as a multiplier to this speed. (Also, shadow clones assigned as workers over the value asked for by the "cap" button and up to the value asked for by the "cap max" button will grant a bonus that is also implemented as a multiplier to converting speed even though its description makes it sound like it'd be implemented somewhere else. Although I'm guessing that you're very early in the game and don't have enough clones to throw around to bother with that part of the divgen yet anyway.) The overall converting speed is displayed in the tooltip when you look at the "divinity/s" line on the divgen. (I'll repeat the phrase "in the tooltip". Your "converting speed" is not the value displayed on that "divinity/s" line. The tooltip tries to explain how that value is derived, and "converting speed" is used in that derivation.)
That value that's getting drained out of the divgen's internal capacity is getting converted into a larger value that you gain back as spendable divinity. There are several bonuses throughout the game ("divinity gain" upgrade, FSM pet, RTI, ChP, crystals (and we all get a bonus from some of the patreons as well)) that help to define this boost. The overall result of all of those bonuses is displayed in the tooltip as a single multiplier which represents "divinity per convert". The result of multiplying together "converts per second" with "divinity per convert" is the final result, your actual "divinity per second" output. That output is the value that's displayed on that "divinity/s" line on the divgen.
I just got the impression from this topic so far that you keep looking at your overall divgen output and calling that your "base speed". So I thought I'd try to take a step back and clear up what the terms mean. Hope that helps.
