Confusion Regarding Creation Next At
I'm confused by something I've observed involving creation next at. I've observed this three times now, so it's much less likely that I'm seeing it wrong or a fluke has led to it.

I've been engaging with UUCs recently. My creation next ats are set up to finish acheivements below weather, zero on weather (to upgrade Temple of God) and a spreadsheet calculated number to create one universe for above weather. Notably, weather is the only zero.

As I understand creation next at, it looks for the deepest zero after it finishes. This leads me to expect it to create weather indefinitely after it creates the single universe for my UUC. It does not do this. Instead, I find it creating shadow clones after the universe is complete.

Am I missing something? Am I misunderstanding creation next at? Is creation next at misbehaving somehow?

Thats how it always worked. After universes it goes to clones.

Next at causes it to move to the next item in the list if it reaches the number specified, or to stay there forever if it is set to 0. If it reaches the next at for universes it stops making them and moves on to clones, effectively looping around to the top of the list, but as there is no next at value you can set for clones it won't cycle back around again and find that it could make more weather in your example.

Fair enough.

It seems like it would be worthwhile to perform an additional check after next at is triggered on universes to verify that no zero values exist between them and shadow clones before settling on creating shadow clones. Or maybe an inhernet next at value could be placed on clones based on the current clone count and the "create clones if not maxed" setting.

It still seems to me like the desired behaviour in the situation I described is to create weather rather than clones. Unless, of course, I'm missing something.

for me it moves to humans once universe is built.... humans are set to 0 and creation next at setting 2

just tried it with next at setting 1 and it also started creating humans after the last creation was finished...

I wonder what's different about humans compared to weather. That's the only difference between our scenarios I can see based on how you described it.

gonna try that with weather now

also if i have two creations set to 0 it will create the upper one (human>weather) it seems to just skip clones...

Weather is my only zero. Dammit! I'm really frustrated by this now - there's no reason it should work that way for you but not for me. :(

Well I have found both behavior sometimes it goes to the 0 and sometimes it make clones.

And the only thing that may change is: Number of Gods Killed and Skipping Creation with -1.

As far as I have experience with creations, in case you did not unlock all creations yet (did not kill Baal) and you finished creating all highest level creations then it will fall back to 1st creation with zero. If you already killed Baal and finished creating universes then it falls back to clones.

The one I've always left at 0 was stone (for the trickle that that provides for the divgen). Haven't tried setting it to stop on a different creation (though I probably should, after the recent divgen changes). But I've also seen it go from completing the universe 'next at' to pointlessly creating unneeded clones every time. I've never seen it go back to stone on its own from there.
