The child has no balloon and doesn't repond ¿bug?

At the beginning of the game you have to give some candy to a child. I get the candy and I talk to the girl but I'm to able to give the candy to her, she just goes away. In all the walktrhoughs and gameplays the child has a balloon but it never appears in my game. I have windows 10 and I recently bought the game here on steam. Did anyone had this problem? How do I solve it?

Have you tried every other option available to you in that section of the game? Such as talking and exhausting all dialogue options with the shop keeper, Hans, and Oscar. Checking the locked gate that you need the key to open. Pulling the lever for the coal loader. Do everything to make sure you have triggered the appropriate requirement.

When you first meet Malka, she doesn't have a balloon. She will keep on coming back and you can talk to her over and over and she will keep on walking away. You need to speak to her about the key and then she will request the candy. There should be a candy dialogue option for her.

If for some reason your game is glitched then just start a new one. You're at the beginning anyway so it's nothing lost.

Cant get to balloon. When i played 8 years ago all worked fine. I stared game like 5 times, talked to everybody, tried everything. I remember how it has to be done, and now its not working. I think its bug. Gonna try GOG version.

I also had this issue, but after clicking everything and finishing all the dialogues I saw that I missed the winding lever on Oscar's side. That was the last missing piece.

Same problem and no solution. Das Balg hat keinen Ballon in der Hand, obwohl ich Süßkram usw. alles hab ... verstehs nicht, bei lets plays auf Youtube funktioniert das.
