Hi! I was wondering if anyone could tell me off the top of there heads if Heavy Turbolaser out-ranges the Heavy Railgun or vice versa, thanks in advance!

I had a quick question if anyone knows the answer, I saw that Heavy Railgun costs 3000 research points, but basically competes with 700-1000 point, mid-game weapons. Is this correct or is this a mistake? It seems a tad expensive to me, neigh-nonviable as a choice. I also noticed that the more advanced weapon, Force Cannons, are also 3000 research points, and is the end game version of the Coilgun, should this be increased?...

Their appearances seem to be based on yetis and tarantula; am I right?
