My apologies for you experiencing no sound while playing Puzzle Galaxies. I guess the game is so old now that maybe some sound cards do not function with it very well.
However, I want to let you know - I have just released a browser version of Puzzle Galaxies (ie for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc). It is based on an HTML5 framework (Phaser game engine to be exact) and maybe you will find that you will get sound support if you try it there? Here's the URL if you want to try:
https://www.crazygames.com/game/puzzle-galaxies <<< DO NOT USE! THIS IS OLD
NEW URL:
https://www.puzzlegalaxies.com/web/
Hope this helps. If it happens to work out for you, please let me know.
Kind Regards,
Jeff Moretti
