Thoughts on max values possible?
So the max you can purchase of anything is right after e+307 or e+308 and then says "Infinity". For me, it took about a week and half of playing (I'm sure some people were able to get this far in shorter period of time).

Because this cap comes pretty quickly, how do you think the devs will be able to expand on the game? Will they make it possible to store larger numbers past this? Will they implement a full game reset with some perk? Will they heavily nerf the productivity across the board?

Just looking on thoughts and theories.

Overall I feel a lot less invested in this game than AdCap, and I think it has a lot to do with the fact that the numbers just escalate too quickly. It doesn't take long before the numbers just get so large they feel meaningless, compared to in AdCap where every power of 10 you go up feels like a milestone.

So rebalancing productivity across the board might be the way to go. Maybe implement an upgrade system that requires ridiculously high numbers of commodities, rather than only using scientists on upgrades.

I like this game better than AdCap, in terms of flavor and uniqueness, but it's very steamrollable at the moment. I'm guessing they're going to:

* Make progress slower, considering how at the moment, with active play, you can increase your production across the board by a power of 10 every minute or so once you have all five types, which is crazy.

* Straight-up add more content, maybe similar to AdCap's planets.

The full reset *might* be a thing in the future, but I doubt it. It seems to me like they're intentionally replacing traditional prestige with those partial reset science factories.

Might be necessary anyway, depending on how they fix it. Right now, once you get the upgrade that requires "infinity" of a tier 5 building, that building becomes NaN instead of Infinity, and once you do it for the medical T5, the soldier production building becomes NaN and then soldiers become NaN and everything goes to hell (and you can't make anything higher after that anyway since everything is either infinity or NaN). I imagine a reset will be completely necessary. Probably for (non-purchased) scientists, too, since those who get infinity faster and just farmed the cap of scientists would have a huge edge over those starting post-rebalance.

Once your output modifier is high enough you basically increase your net worth by 10X each time you buy 50% of everything once (and can do 100% but usually you want to set nurse to 50% in case you accidentally reduced your soldiers to 0 which sets you back by a lot). The cost to acquire additional comrades is constant, so for example at start maybe buying one farmer pays for itself after 100 cycles, but after your output bonus is high enough then that farmer pays for himself (and then some) immediately after one cycle, and then you immediately buy more farmers that immediately pays for itself again, and so on.

The correct solution would be to have cost of acquiring new comrades go up exponentially. That'd also make acquiring buildings that produce comrades a better investment than just buying more comrades. You can't just buy only buildings because the buildings require comrades in the first place, and even with a high output modifier they've a relatively long time (though currently not enough) before they start paying for the upfront cost.

Great feedback here; thank! The short answer is basically the whole game will be seeing a rebalancing and tweaks to the values, costs, etc. Currently there is very little balance put into things like the higher tier resources/buildings, so that will also be reowkred to add more content and length to the game. We are also working on a prestiging system and lots of other additons. This is still pretty early in the beta so you can expect lots more updates for the game down the road.

i have also reached the "infinity stage"; and maxed out everything up to the point, it does not allow me to buy anything anymore (this happend after buying the ant colonies, and all other 4 final productions that yield scientist as reward) , instead of the "infinity", it now says "NAN" (non available now ?) see screenshot >> http://puu.sh/r80Kj/b4e413dc44.jpg and this one >> http://puu.sh/r80Vm/5a25fe1a58.jp

NaN stands for "Not a Number", because some of the costs goes up to infinity at some point which you can buy with infinity, but infinity minus infinity is not a defined value, hence NaN.

Either 1 of 2 things needs to happen (depends on what software they used), if its something like java, they have to completely remake the game, in a different program, otherwise they will need to overhaul part of the game (5-25%). Since the max value is based on "Double" variables (1.79 x 10^308) nothing has been built (for basic programs like java) for higher numbers.
