wont let me jump high enough through the portal to reach the nesxt floor. PLEASE HELP/FIX!!!!!

Did you remember to make it a 'charged' portal ? Think there was one jump I didn't get high enough for so then made both portals charged and made the jump OK. Also, sometimes you affect jump distance depending on if you hold down direction or jump keys while passing through the portal.

I think the charged portal mechanic is not very well communicated in the game, had a hard time learning how to use it first time...

re-installing it now. dont think i was using a charged portal. will update

I agree. Sometimes the portal went throught the portal hole, sometime it nullified itself.
I had to try it out quite a few times to get it right.
