The new project from DevilishGames is set to arrive on PC and consoles in 2027 and is already available to wishlist on Steam.

Spanish studio DevilishGames has unveiled the first official teaser for You Are Family, its upcoming psychological horror adventure. The project stands out for its radically unique visual approach: all graphics have been created using real images captured with a Game Boy Camera by graphic artist Kramelman. 

A perfect getaway… until it isn’t 

You Are Family takes players to a remote countryside guesthouse. At first glance, it seems like an idyllic retreat, complete with friendly guests, homemade meals, and the promise of escaping the outside world. But before long, cracks begin to appear beneath the surface:

• Some guests stop coming down for breakfast.

• Strange noises echo through the house at night.

• Shadows seem to come alive within the walls.

In this house, silence hides a disturbing truth.

Exploration, investigation, and survival

To survive and uncover the truth in You Are Family, players will need to observe carefully, talk to the house’s residents, and explore every corner. In this experience, nothing can be fully trusted: secrets are hidden not only in documents and conversations, but also in everyday objects, the food being served, and even the architecture itself. 

A one-of-a-kind visual style: Game Boy Camera 

One of the project’s defining pillars is its visual identity. Every graphic has been captured directly using a real Game Boy Camera, resulting in an authentic, grainy, and deliberately imperfect pixel aesthetic. This handcrafted approach enhances the game’s oppressive atmosphere, turning the familiar into something unsettling and deeply disturbing. 

Psychological horror with a B-movie soul 

You Are Family blends tense psychological horror with dark humor and the spirit of classic B-movies. The result is a unique experience where the eerie and the absurd coexist as players solve puzzles, investigate their surroundings, and try to uncover what is really happening inside the house.
