For games, Windows is better. For works, it depends on the type of works. I work as programmer, and in my opinion, programming is more comfortable on Unix system like MacOS and Linux than Windows.

Unfortunately, MacBook is too expensive for me, so I prefer to use Linux.

No windows isn't better also I like my privacy and don't want to use an OS that has zero respect for it in its design.
Also when I wanna play games I don't want to have to reboot my computer on a different OS than my daily runner thank you very much ...

Just saying "Use windows because everything works on it" defeats the purpose of asking for linux support. The goal for the linux community is to get things to work on linux like they do other mainstream Operating systems.

I would like to see games work more on this too as the only reason I use windows currently is for gaming. My life would be alot easier if I could use linux for everything. (Not because I'm some elitist but because I use Linux for work. Switching often makes life suck.)
