That's actually a bummer because middle mouse button didn't work for me for some reason and I don't really feel like playing the game anymore.

You can change the keymapping by going to Options>Keyboard and Mouse>Key Mapping and then clicking on the secondary (or primary, if you want) slot next to 'Swap Shoulder View', then pressing a hotkey.
I would recommend mapping it to another mouse button, if you have them.

So you also was the one who started like a pro with hudless realistic expirience and realised that game is quite broken that way as it was designed around hud elements without which you cant even know controls?)) I did that mistake as well.
