This game has Easy Anti Cheat, so no mods allowed. Maybe mods can be installed if we can disable EAC, but we cannot coop with people in that case.

They did Far Cry 4, which only had side mission co-op but tons of custom content thanks to creation tools. Now we have full, complete co-op and FOUR players, but no custom content. Why the step backwards?

I don't care how many missions or how big a game is, people will finish anything in no time.

And there was Anti Cheat in Watchdogs 2 which is a pure coop game. Ubi's logic seems to be very unpredictable.

Watchdogs 2 wasn't pure coop. It had tons of pvp features in it.

Yes the game has EAC , just look in to the game folder .

Open Beta required EAC, and, if you have preloaded, you can see there is a file called "EasyAntiCheat" in the directory

You all do know the real reason for disabling mods right?

Ubisoft, and others, have realized they can sell gamers stupid addons like new hats and face tattoos etc. It's all about finding new ways to profit off all of these half-finished lackluster games that come out when they know the sales will be weak. They figure, sell all the cheap little addons to those that actually buy the game.
