WHY IS MY GAME SO CHOPPY!!?-FIXED!!
Downloaded Bayonetta yesterday, tutorial level is smooth as can be then as soon as im done the tutorial the rest of the game is choppy and broken, literally to the point of not being able to play properly.

I've messed with literally all the settings, re-installed multiple times and my computer should be more than capable of running this game....I dont get it.

Run the game in offline mode and see if it gets you better results. It seems to be Steam itself that affects the game.

~shrug~ your typical japanese dev's ethic. release games but dont fix them Q_Q

It is astounding that we have to rely on hackers these days to fix games.

they said priates and hackers are not right, i say the publisher nowadays are like muggers, charge u tons of money for some lame azz dlc and doesnt help their customer to solve technical issue.

Sh*t I miss those times when devs did their work properly. Nowadays I buy games (because piracy is a crime LUL) and fix them during all my weekend... if there even any fix available.

Considering I don't have an on board GPU, I think I can safely say you're wrong.

Replaceing the steam api files with the cracked versions fixed the problem perfectly.

That is a nocd crack meaning that the steam implementation of this game is complete garbage. Why is taking so long to the dev team to fix something so basic? This game does not even use most steam APIs.

Worked like a charm. Silly how the steam api is causing this game to not run correctly.

Patching a game is new territory for platinum (on pc anyway) its a first. Still no excuse though.

My guess is that they'll push it on the day vanquish launches for 3 reasons:

1) the japanese like to do stuff like that
2) there resources are likely focused on vanquish right now
2) the patch may not actually fix anything and the vanquish discount will have ended by then
