Is the Moon of Mahaa Kalaa hard to use on keyboard?
Having trouble with Gracious and Glorious on hard, being able to use the thing more would be great but with a keyboard, it would seem the thing can only be activated if you get hit in 8 if not 4 different sides depending on camera angle aswell.

Can't speak for keyboard use but definitely the Moon is a great counter to Grace and Glory, maybe try science if nobody responds?
It might be possible you are one of the very few people crazy enough to play Hard mode Bayonetta with mouse and keyboard.

hey! You called me crazy! well... I had to do that 'cause the game wouldn't recognize my gamepad, I couldn't find any solution and definitely wouldn't buy another gamepad for just one game, no matter how good (and Bayo is so damn good, love it).

About that item, I just play like usual and let the effects come at random, so I'm not sure if there's actually a huge difference.

I imagine it's harder to press diagnoles on a keyboard. This game is definitely designed with a controller is mind.

That said, keyboard did help me to score the 3 perfect parries in a row achievement, since I found it to be easier to mash out W against fast attacks.

You can maybe try using the Steam Big picture pad configuration? I'm not sure it will help you, but it did help me to rebind buttons for my ps3 pad. Try going into big picture and into the controller options from there.
