Location of Saved Game Files, help

Hey! Im turning my computer in for a complete reinstallation and maintenance work, and i wanna put my bayonetta save file on an external drive to keep so that when i reinstall the game, i can just put it back and not lose the progress ive made. But im not sure where the save files are and what files i need to save to keep my saved game intact. If anybody could help i would appreciate it, thx!

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<your user id>\460790

Okey then remote, and so all the files that are in there i need to save and then when reinstalled put back there? There's one file of 2kb thats just a bunch of numbers, then the save data (i have 4 of them it seems) and then one file that says "system_data".

May as well back up everything just in case. I don't know what the 2kb file is mind, system_data is the game's settings and is a copy of the file in \Documents\Bayonetta

so back up all of those files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<your user id>\460790\remote and put them back there later when the game is reinstalled?

It does, but some people don't use it, and/or want to make an additional backup just in case.

Yeah actually, i did have steam cloud enabled for bayonetta and when i went into the folder where the save files were after i reinstalled the game, the files were back so, it all worked out! I forgot i even had steam cloud on and yeah.. Oh well, still good to know where the save files get put!
