edit: if you mean the part after you summon your demon, you have to mash the X button and hold left or right (as shown on the screen) and then quickly push Y+B when the game asks you to punch him and keep going, otherwise he'll break free and you'll have to do it again.
yes, it's the part after i summoned the giant spider (funnily, on keyboard i just need to press "R" to summon apparently) and then once i'm on the back of the boss i need to do this bizarre QTE^^.
I've spent far too much time in this game trying to understand what was expected of me in totally unclear situations. This is the last drop. I actually managed to do it once without even knowing how or why and I just can't do it again. It probably just glitched and that's how it worked.
There are three topics on the subject in the discutions, none of them have an answer telling what the player is actually supposed to do. I guess it probably just mean I'm the dumbest f*** ever, but I don't remember seeing a minimum expected IQ in the specs for the game.
I'm pretty sure it can be fun to replay once you've finally figured out what to do in each and every situation. But my patience just ran out. So I'll just uninstall, put the game into my "crap" folder, and try to forget I ever bought it.
Or maybe I'll just try again in one week once I've cooled down and find out it was obvious as f***.
So here's how it works in the improbable case of someone else beeing as obtuse as me.
When it says A+E, it means you have to alternate between both. But you need to alternate very quickly. Even if you know what you're supposed to do, it's easy to fail.
Also, if like me you use an azerty keyboard and don't really know if you're supposed to press Q or A, the key to press is the left direction (yeah, it doesn't make any sense, but bear with it).
I had a very hard time figuring out if I had to press A and E, or Q and E, or mash A and E, or mash Q and E, or alternate Q and E, or alternate A and E. Or whatever else. And because it's not obvious when you're doing it right, it became very frustrating.
So, until the next time I throw a temper, I guess Bayonetta is saved from the "crap" folder.
You have to mash E the whole ride and turn Sapientia to the left or to the right holding A or D respectively. Don't mash A (or D), just hold it.
Figured it out by accident. It's really not clear what you are supposed to do.
