For cheesing tactics, B2 Rodin is harder because even with the most powerful moves you have in your possession, Rodin seldomly flinches and even if you knock him down, most of his wake up attacks are absurdly instant. B1 Rodin can suffer hitstuns with well timed wicked weaves, so if you equip the Climax Brace which gives Bayonetta's unlimited wicked weaves which she usually reserves for her serious mode against Bosses, B1 Rodin becomes a lot easier to handle. Note that I say "easier", not "easy", because he's still a force to be reckoned with.
That is of course if you decide to go into the super extra cheesy tactics i.e. the Kilgore glitch or just flat out abusing the Kilgore attached to your feet with Climax Brace equipped like what is demonstrated here:

But yeah, it seems that Bayo 1 Rodin has way more room for cheesy tactics than in Bayo 2. I've also seen one where you can beat him in like 20~ seconds. I think it was with charged Pillow Talk and Climax Brace.
