You can easily Google search the default control layout and compare the buttons with ones that are selected for keyboard (X is mapped on E, Y is mapped on LMB etc.).
Sadly, no. Since the cheat code requires you to press the down button on the controller, but it's not mapped to anything and pc players don't know which is the correspondent key to a keyboard. To explain more, the keys to quickly use the items (your left, up and right on the controller pad) are not the arrow keys or the numpad keys as one might have guessed. Instead, it's 1 for left, 2 for top, and 3 for right. So there is no down key.
That is basically the problem. If it was just the last action, we would have figured it out long ago :)
