Alfheim 2 (Limited punches/kicks)
I don't understand how to beat this one. I guess I need to know what the most damaging move is. Does Witch time cause any more damage?

Witch time doesn't increase damage. It only increases hitstun and enhances the wicked weave properties when launching or shoving enemies. Learn to extend your damage. The gunfire Bayonetta dishes out with each punch and kick is more than enough to take down an enemy within your limited capabilities. Just simply hold down the button for each punch and kick as you do your combos. Combine this with wicked weaves, and you'll easily take down any enemy with little effort. Here's a quick video demonstration on how it can be done with regular weapons:

A good combo for Bayonetta to do when using damage extension (assuming you're using Scarborough Fair) is PPKKK. With this combo, you throw out TWO wicked weaves in the last 2 kicks. It's one of Bayonetta's best combos because it does the most damage in one sequence.

If you're still struggling, you can alway skip this segment and come back to it once you've acquired more powerful weapons like Durga and Shuraba.

wicked weaves do more damage. the entire game can be completed without witch time.

if this is your first playthrough, you may want to leave this aelfheim till later, it's a lot easier to do with the kitana and claws.

I did it by simply holding single kicks/punches with scarborough fair equipped. You gotta hit the initial attack and then get the full salvo in and you'll make it with about 1 punch left.

These can be the hardest alfheims to platinum. I found dual durgas and pkp to be a good, simple combo. Making sure to hold each attack button so the explosive skull is triggered. This combo is really good on the alfheims on hard mode. Especially the two giant enemies - the name of which escapes me at the moment.
