PC market is growing. Next gen consoles will make it grow further. The XBOX is essentially a PC now, so why not just get a PC? Once the PS4 no longer has competition, the quality and quantity of your precious casual-experience exclusives will drop dramatically. And your right, epic games will bring us the PS4 exclusives you love so much. Journey came out just a few days ago, and Detroit become human is next, that list will only get bigger with time as the PC market inevitably gets bigger.

Sony will never stop making God-tier exclusives. Horizon 2, Spiderman 2, God of War 2, Bloodborne 2/confirmed Demon's Souls Remaster, another Kojima exclusive, Ghost of Tsushima? All of those are just tastes of what's to come. They are doubling down on first party exclusives, like they already said. You can make up lies to make yourself feel better but you will continue getting rekt. I hope PS5 games run on 30 fps to make them inaccessible to PC peasants who are more about frame rate than gameplay/graphics/story.

Journey is a 7 year old game... and it was never Sony's. The devs moved on from Playstation therefore are now making iPhone exclusives with microtransactions :D Go support them.
Detroit and other cinematic movies don't interest me. They didn't win or compete for GOTY.
Microsoft has to release their games on PC because their consoles are dead and the franchises are at risk of dying too. Sony is doing better than ever. PS4 is about to reach 100 million and the biggest exclusives are yet to come out...

No. Sly and Ratchet & Clank were superior to Jak in every way. The music in Jak 2 is a joke. I still go back to listen and laugh at it. The combat theme is literally 1 sound for 5 minutes straight. The guns were generic and boring. Jesus. Daxter on the PSP was the best of the franchise.

Yes the PC community has its fair share of overambitious morons, but does the console community. Remember when you peasants thought you were going to get full backwards compatibility down the line? Moronic assumption even if Sony did end up remastering a few PS3 classics.

Single player games are dying. Kids only like multiplayer/BR excrement now unfortunately. Those games are much better on PC. The PC market is growing rapidly because of that and how lackluster Microsoft has been for the past few years. With no competition for Sony, exclusives will start to dwindle in quality. That is my two cents anyway.

Because one of the staple advantages of PC gaming is the ability to play games at high frame rates. Personally, If there is no option for higher framerates it doesn't bother me, no use crying about it.

No it isn't a meme, its reality. Kids make up the majority of gamers, And most of them haven't developed the standards to enjoy good single player games, which is why they play crap like Fortnite and PUBG. More mature gamers with better standards eventually start playing video games far far less due to things like work and college.

In conclusion:

Mature gamers who like good stuff - get older and stop playing as much.

Kids who like fortnite - Slowly replace the mature audience and game developers conform to their tastes.

That isnt even mentioning the Chinese market which is growing expensively. Have you seen the types of games they enjoy? Pretty much BR games only.

Most multiplayer games are better on PC. PC's are getting cheaper by the year. Xbox is dead. Standard-less kids are becoming more prevalent. Biggest video game market (china) hates anything that isn't BR game or a low quality JRPG.

All that equates to more PC gamers and less console gamers. = less PS4 exclusives. Of course nearly everything I mentioned is a thing for the future though.

Dream on. 2019 GOTY will be Death Stranding. 2020 is an exception because of Cyberpunk but every other GOTY contender will be PS4 exclusive or bad/late PC port. Nioh 2, Persona 5R, Babylon's Fall, Bayonetta 3, Last of Us 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon 2, possible NieR sequel, Project Awakening etc.

-The Xbox is essentially a PC now - True but it's kinda the other way around since Microsoft announed 20 new Xbox Games Studios titles on PC (Steam/Xbox App for Windows 10) while still announcing a next gen Xbox with similar specs as PS5

Sony Interactive Entertainment is doing incredibly well since 2015 and they've just proven to be the best platform for high quality AAA exclusives. I don't think they'll let us down. Sony promised to focus on quality instead of quality a few months back so it's expected to see less games per year from Sony. The game's just getting started. There are plenty of games ahead The Last of Us Part II and Death Stranding. New IPs will always come along no matter what. God of War and Spider-Man, HZD sequels would blow away your mind (unless you prefer online multiplayer/ family-friendly kids games) once they announce it for PS5.

About Epic Games Store bringing PS4 exclusives. I don't know where you heard this but you are very wrong. What really happened was Quantic Dream (the developer of Heavy Rain/Detroit/Beyond Two Souls) is an independent studio and they're not a part/subsidiary of Sony. Quantic Dream owns all of their IPs just like how Bungie owns Destiny. They decided to end 12 year exclusivity with Sony following a partnership with Epic Games. Also, NetEase a Chinese video game publisher invested a whopping $100 million to QD for to maybe work so some new game. Its the same company that also invested $100 million into Bungie soon as they left Activision. Please.....just don't expect Uncharted/God of War/Spider-Man on Epic Game Store....not happening.

PC market may sure be getting bigger every day and that's a good thing. However the same **NEW** PC Gamers aren't here for Far Cry 5, Assassin's Creed Oddessey or Resident Evil 2 remake instead flocking due to growing number of popularity with battle royale games such as Fortnite, Apex Legends, PubG, CS:GO and MMO games such as Dota 2, Minecraft, League of Legends, Overwatch, World of Warcraft etc. There maybe a few exceptions like small indie games and 2-3 hits once in a while.

Sure PC Gamers are the ultimate glorious Master Race. Yes you guys are great and we are peasants/poor people because not every one can afford a $2000 PC that can do 4K at 60fps or 1440p at 144/240hz at ultra settings. In lot of cases PC Games are victim of broken/unfinished/buggy ports. Only after a series of patches some games may end up well polished. PS4/PS5 will always be the first priority of AAA video game developers because thats where most money comes in right?

The gap between a high end PC (4K build) and next gen console is about to end because the next console is 8K ready with 4K60fps native support, real time ray tracing and no loading screens. It's confimred the next gen console will be backwards compatible and will use AMD's custom Zen and Navi graphics card.
