Bug: No HUD during plane scene, no torture move tutorial

So I had to google why I kept failing the plane scene, and it turns out that not only is there a tutorial that failed to display, I have no HUD whatsoever, and thus no timer. I thought I was just not killing enough angels in the short time afforded.

Figured it out, for whatever reason when the game switched to the plane scene it disabled my UI and my tutorials in the options menu. I had tutorials in the graveyard, so I have no idea why it turned them off after.

Also for some reason my subtitles got set to chinese.

Okay, just played all the way back to the plane level, and I still didn't get the torture attack tutorial.

Just press Punch+Kick near an enemy with at least 1 big orb of magic.

Big orb being the orbs under the health bar, or something else?

If you are playing on PC then press "F8" to turn on and turn of the HUD in the game. You can see this binding in the keyboard settings since they didnt put it up there so you can turn and off the HUD in the game by pushing F8 while you are playing the game. So if your "steam overlay key" is f8 button then try to change it to another button in the game. That might be the case why you couldnt see the HUD in the game in the first place.

yes under the health bar, eight small orbs transform in one big one

I just had this issue now. For some reason I didn't get the double-jump tutorial in the graveyard either, but I got the other tutorials in the same session. I kept wondering why the plane kept crashing, what I was supposed to do, so I went to Google and came across this thread.
