Bayonetta
Can a kind soul mod away the glasses?
Glasses aren't sexy. When I see glasses, I just think, "This person has a deficiency."

I'm assuming they can be removed because she adjusts them in one of the early cutscenes.

I hate wearing glasses. I pretty much only wear them when I go to the cinema or drive. They get dirty and foggy easily, they reflect light and you always feel them. They're pretty impractical for a balletic fighter and just don't look good.

Honestly can they just mod out Bayonetta completely and replace her with a decent female character?! I'd pay cold hard cash for that.
yeah what we really need is the autist from the new mass effect game she is an empowered woman who don't need no man
Didn't the director or character designer for Bayonetta say her glasses are like her underwear and she's naked without them?

(Spoiler: glasses are 'sexy', and they were an essential component in Bayonetta's design.)

In the behind the scenes video on the Steam store page, the character designer says the glasses are there because the director wanted them there. She said she looked through 20,000 fashion magazines to inspire the outfit, if I remember correctly, but when she mentioned the glasses, it seemed like she didn't care.

Hell I'd take anything over Bayonetta, just give me one of the girls from Katawa Shoujo at least
Bayonetta 3 will be set a long time in the future:

And she will still wear glasses...

kamiya was very horny for glasses
This is why anime games are a mistake. We should be gassing all horny weaboos like you.
What if you just like anime but don't want to move to Japan like a faglord
Ah ah, like american comics are better... Seriously.
Well you shouldn't feed the troll really, it's fun but they get full of it.
I have to commend him, though:
Gas chambers + eradicating a group of population based on arbitrary and misplaced hate.

I think we can award a godwin point here!

Instead of removing her glasses can we hire a rat to chew the mole off her face?

A deficiency? XD damn man you made me laugh real hard with that one lol!!
I would say it is impossible. A modder may be able to remove the glasses from the in game model. That is if you can figure out what files they are and edit them, and if the game doesn't crash as result.

However you also have dozens of cut scenese, and every single one would have to be editted as well. This would mean decompiling the cut scene, editting it frame by frame to remove the glasses, and then compiling them again. For over a dozen of them.

In short, it isn't going to happen

I recall hating the red outift my character had on in Jade Empire. So I used a mod to turn into a beautiful silver one instead. Long story short it didn't change the outfit for the cut scenes. Whenever a cut scene ran, which was a few times each chapter (just like Bayonetta) the outfit went back to its original red. I got sick of the inconsistancy so I removed the mod.

You would get the same problem here. No glasses in game, glasses in cut scenes.

If it helps out, you can change her outfit to other syles after you unlock some new outfits in The Gates of Hill, under Rodin's Treasury. I do not know much about the various outfits or how to get them however. I just know they exist.
