Bayonetta is a stylish arcade action game.
Nier Automata is a bit more mellow with its combat, while Bayonetta is crazy full stop from beginning to end. Which one you choose depends on what kind of games you enjoy, as they're both very different.
Bayonetta has something very unique about it like no other game has been able to recapture, much like how Shadows of the Damned was very different and unique and another game I'd like to see ported to Steam.
Buy Bayonetta only for nostalgic/historical purposes.
Everyone on Bayonetta forums that posted and have mouse icon next to our nicknames means he/she owns this game already.
Nier for better story
Honestly I'd always get Nier over Bayonetta, but I'm a sucker for a good story.
