game isn't starting

it just says preparing to launch than it just stops any nothing happens. in the library it says running then changes to sync. i already tried reinstalling it.

get a wiiu and that port and you can get 2 that way

I had the same problem. The content creator update messed with my antivirus/firewall and that wasn't allowing me to run anything not installed prior to the update.

Has anyone tried the solution from the video? I hate that I have to dump 100megs of numerous files into two of my OS folders to get this stupid thing working. Hopefully it comes down to just a few of these guys.

I also just upgraded to an RX 470 and it didn't either.

its not "random stuff" installing visual c++ redistributables, microsoft .net framework and directx on your computer is needed to run older games

there is a high chance you have directx from other games installing it for you but c++ you usually have to go and manually download

im using the 2010 versions

also i think its best to get the x86(32bit) and x64 versions cause you need both (if you have a 64bit os that is)

Not sure what you're point is. The game came with all those and we've installed them. That did nothing. I have every redist installed from MS through '15 on x64/x86. Every other game under the sun works just fine because of this.

Just don't want to take some random files from a YT video above and put them in my OS folders unless I have 1) good confidence they are not harmful/tampered with and 2) it'll solve the problem with their game and I'm not just wasting 200 megs for nothing.

the youtube video i dont have any idea about i just assumed you where missing visual c++

if you have them installed x64/x86 up to the newer ones i dont think the 2010 version will be any different
