Replay value and longevity?
Never played it, but wondering how much time I would spend in-game? Thanks!

I never played it either.. but it is $20.. and people really love it.
do note, it looks as you'd expect (even at 4k).. like an old console game

The replay value is mainly in replaying fights to get the best rating (Pure Platinum). I'd estimate a playthrough on normal without perfectionism to be about 12 hours?

There's a huge amount of thing to unlock which is not possible in one playthrough. Weapons, moves, accessories and costumes etc. To finish the game isn't too long, 12 - 15 hours. To unlock everything, maybe 70.

100 percenter here. Well worth $20
I'd even call it a steal, there's a significant amount to do in this game.

It's a fast-paced character action game where the skill ceiling is astronomical, so it'll keep you busy for years until your skill and creativity reaches its limit in terms of gameplay. If you're not that type of gamer, then all you'll be left to do after clearing all of the chapters for the first time is unlocking the weapons you've missed, earning a Pure Platinum rank on each chapters, conquering the higher difficulty settings, and attempting to beat the secret boss.

It depends on what kind of person you are. If you think repeated playthroughs on harder difficulties is enjoyable, then there's a lot of replayability and it's really fun.
