No sound

Game starts fine, but no audio at all. Anyone else had this issue?

Just go to audio options and select default....I had this happen to me once for some reason as well....no idea how it was caused but easy fix.

Tried that, but no joy. It looks to be an issue with it playing through my headphones, as it will play through my speakers okay.

No love for me though my case is a bit atypical as I'm outputting the PC audio to an A/V receiver with 5.1 speakers via HDMI from the graphics card. =/

same issue for me...I'm playing on a PC connected to a 4K TV using a HDMI cable....

I think its something to do with my headset registering as mono as it's USB powered, but transmits audio through an optical cable. it plays in 7.1, but windows only sees mono

I had the same issue playing through my laptop's speakers. Was on chapter 3 and suddenly no BGM or FX. I could hear it if I tried to adjust the levels in options but it wouldn't go back in the main game.

I'm having the exact same issue...playing on a 4k tv through HDMI to Onkyo A/V receiver no sound at all...I can only get the "SEGA" voice but that's it...very frustrating....

Same issue but with a Plantronics Gamecom 780 headset. No problems in any other app or video I play.

Edit: and now it's back after another restart. Weird!

For me it worked just to start the game in the normal mode and not in the big screen mode as i do usually with games i play with a controller.

don't know if its a weird coincidence, but scince then i don't have problems with the sound, although the game seems to minimize itself random.

Apparently they have not fixed the sound issue using an HMDI cable.
Any one have a fix.

2019 and the sound still does not work while using a HDMI. I've tried literally everything and the sound of everything else but the game works just fine. NVIDIA Geforce and Win10.
