Cutscene Lollipop trick, anyone know how to do it on the PC version?
Hello fellow witches.

As you may already know, there's an Easter Egg where players can actually get a lollipop buff from the cutscenes whenever she is eating one. For new players, go look it up and be surprised! I've been trying to do the trick on the PC version but still unable to pull it off. I wonder if anyone is doing this consistently on this version, or the trick has been changed/pulled out? Let me know!

Works fine for me. You have to be holding the Y/B button before the lollipop appears in the cutscene, and it's only possible with a small number of cutscenes.

Hmm I've been holding the buttons right from the beginning of the cutscene. The cutscene that I'm trying it on is the Fortitudo fight. I will try again though, since now you confirmed it exist for me. Thank you.

Huh, I never knew about that, and I've played the living hell out of this game since day 1 on the 360.

Platinum likes putting weird little things like that in their games. Like the cat in metal gear rising that can dodge literally every attack you can throw at it.

Yeah, I'm aware PlatinumGames throw in lots of minor details into their games. It's part of why I absolutely love them. Wonderful 101 is just chock full of stuff like that, but it's just so fascinating that the lollipop thing seems to have escaped me when I'm the one always looking for all the minor details these games offer. Playing Bayonetta on the PC was a real benefit for me because I've started noticing way more stuff because of its cleaner image. In one chapter after meeting Luka and Bayo paints his face to look like Okami, you have to fight Fairness. While you're doing that, you can actually see Luka in the background swing up to the top of a pillar and start taking photos. I never noticed that since he's in a ghostly image due to Bayonetta being in purgatorio. It's stuff like that that I enjoy the most. :D

Oh so its Amaterasu she's drawing ! Thanks for poking that out for me. Okami was such a lovely game and I happened to slipped through this, shame on me. Yeah Luka swings away when the battle starts, just some continuity from cutscene to gameplay. Same concept happen whenever a new enemy type is being introduced too. They will launch an attack after the intro and players have to dodge right when the gameplay kicks in. As for the lollipop if you think about it, the buffs are useful for big fights, and I don't think its a coincidence when most of the boss fights cutscene shows her having one sweet treat! Just a nice little push for players to fight the bosses a lil easier.
