Grace and Glory
So glad I hung out with my friend last night. This fight saved me $20. I've played a lot of games over the years, from lots of genres, but I have never encountered a fight so absolute BS.

I was having a good time up until the second time I had to fight this BS duo. I was enjoying the fast pace and the challenge. But this... Nope! This is not fun. Nothing about this fight is fun.

So thanks to my friend for letting experience at least some of the game. And thanks to Grace and Glory for helping me not waste $20.

Dodge one attack, beat them down in witch time. Simple as that, they don't even attack you at the same time.

If you're salty now you should meet Gracious and Glorious.

Triggered with Grace and Glory. Instead practicing more, you gave up ?

Nah, won't ever meet them. When a game literally gives me a headache, that's a game I won't be spending money on.

I'm glad Bayonetta is on the PC now. It'll make it available to more peeps. But that fight was a deal breaker for me. I went from a fun Shadow of the Colossus type boss fight to.... slamming my face into a wall for no reason. That's not fun. It's stupid.

But some people enjoy that. Kudos to them. I'm not wasting my money on something like that.

Right... Because you know how long I spent on that fight, right? I bet you think I tried it once and gave up. I'll let you just live in your little delusion.

That's not a pleasant thought. lol

I'll watch some videos about the game. Worst case scenario, I'll play it when I'm over at my friend's apartment. I'll just play one of his saves where he's past these two punks.

I believe at the point you reach those two, you have obtained shuraba right (sword)?
Just wear it and spam PKP, you'll deal a lot of dmg.
Beside those two seems scary because they moves as if they are attacking lol (that zig zag movement). However they only attack after they are a bit closer to you. Just try to dodge and kill them, its not that hard dude.

An easy method to kill them is just finish the red one first using TA, take his weapon, and kill the other by pressing K button (spinning flame attack)

WT the fire one and attack the thunder one. The latter is faster and less predictable

Either way, wait until Gracious and Glorious: even faster, less predictable, much more damaging and immune to WT :P

I'd love to be insightful on how to deal with Grace and Glory, because they aren't as hard as people are making them out to be, but considering you're just glad you won't spend money to play this wonderful game, it's probably best you continue being ignorant.

If you thought Grace and Glory was tough, I'd hate to see you deal with Gracious and Glorious. :D

It's fair enough if OP finds it too frustrating. These are difficult games sometimes, and if you're getting too stressed out playing a game, it's maybe not a good idea to keep playing.

It's all about having fun at the end of the day anyways. OP can just find a different game to have a better time with.

People are right though, you haven't seen nothin' yet. :MooIdea:

I get that it can be frustrating. I've been through that myself. Back when I was terrible at Bayonetta, I rage quitted the game halfway through and it took 2 years for me to get back and learn how to properly dodge offset and perform other advanced techniques, but coming here to this forums to essentially say he's glad to not spend money on this game because it's so hard to fight against 2 enemies is incredibly obnoxious no matter how justified he thinks he is. I have to wonder how his friend fairs at playing this game, because it doesn't sound like he had much help in showcasing how to handle Grace and Glory.

Pff knock the game down to eas automatic if you're just trying to feel like a bad ass ♥♥♥♥♥ :D

Fun fact: I almost aced Gracious & Glorious when I first met them. On the other hand, my first encounter with Grace & Glory ended in less than 3 seconds. I just got gud.

Let me get this straight.. you struggled with a fight on normal mode? Where Witch Time is available? Lol.

There are tons of Grace and Glory fights, often even three of them at once, on Ultimate Climax (= no Witch Time) difficulty and they can all be done with Pure Platinum rank with relative ease. Grace and Glory/Gracious and Glorious are the only four enemy types in the game which are actually threatening, so if not being pushovers means "BS" to you then you should simply stay away from games with any form of challenge.

You can spam parry on them and they will keep wailing at you with the same attack until you have enough magic to just do a torture attack, if you just want to cheese it. You'll probably accidentally activate witch time before that though. Or just eat a yellow lollipop.

If you do a TA on the fire dude - I don't know which is which - the claws he drop will let you kill the boss in one move.
