Very bad port! :(

I heard about Bayonetta is on par with a half demon badass. However I do not have a console :(

At first when I heard it was ported to PC. I was delighted but after plaing it for a while, I absolutely hate it..

Cinematic at the very beginning already dropped to single digits. The gamplays hovers betwwen 12fps to 30 fps. Not as smooth as it can be at 60 fps but I think it is not possible I will be refunding it as it is downright unplayable.

Does anybody knows any fixes?

There are multiple people with all kinds of things affecting their performance. Luckily I haven't run to any issues on my system.

Only one thing will help if you have this problem. It begins with Cr and ends in ack.

The steamapi is broken in this game and its hitting the cpu with abnormal usage.

Disabling the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worthless steam overlay could help.

Offline mode help a bit and made the game playable a little biut but still a nightmare. Same goes to go offlione mode.

However, still going to refund it as the cutscene is pretty bad (single digits)

Odd. Mine's enabled, and CPU use hovers between 20-40% per core. My CPU (i5-4670K) wasn't top of the line when it came out and is a few generations behind the new ones.

For me, on windows 7 it was a slideshow. On 10 its 60, but stutters all the time which gets on my nerves during combos.

The *you know what* fixes both issues. The game's steamapi file is broken.

Did a bit of researcha and found out taht potato machine can run the game better than high end machine.

WTF Sega? If crack version is better than your game, why should I buy this game?

Any chance to get the fix the api files?

Doesn't say for what though. Though this should be their first priority and it'd be the easiest problem to fix.
