For some reason I cannot hire chieftain heros despite being 150+ turns in the game as Throt and having multiple lvl3 clan armories, is this a bug or is there something i'm just not aware of?

What the hell happened? I can no longer play my Mortal Empires DLCs that I have owned for years. The game tries to send me someplace to claim my free content. I already own the thing, you brainiacs. What the hell did you do? I can't even play my saved games now....
