The following is a list of patch notes and bug fixes for Kristala Version 1.1.2

This update introduces additional improvements focused on localization quality, menu stability, gameplay functionality, and overall performance. It also includes fixes for Echo progression, merchant inventory, weapon abilities, traversal, and CPU usage as we continue improving the overall player experience.

• Fixed an issue where projectile spells could display Character Hit visual effects in an incorrect location.

• Fixed an issue where the Raksha Sword & Shield and Revenant Key & Crest weapon abilities could fail to reset, preventing them from being activated again.

• Fixed an issue where an invalid tutorial popup could cause the game to freeze.

• Improved traversal by allowing certain Wall Run volumes to automatically trigger a jump at the end, helping players transition more smoothly.

• Fixed an issue where the Echo Upgrade menu could incorrectly forget the selected Echo while upgrading it, causing the menu to become stuck.

• Fixed an issue where the Nisar Weapon Merchant could incorrectly sell +0 Echoes.

• Fixed an issue that prevented players from remapping the Triangle (PlayStation) and Y (Xbox/Keyboard) input.

• Fixed an issue that could cause CPU usage to accumulate each time the Settings menu was opened.

• Fixed the positioning of the "Skip Ahead" widget when using localized languages.

• Fixed an issue preventing Chinese subtitles from displaying correctly.

• Reviewed and corrected 2,300 lines of Arabic localization.

• Added additional localization improvements for Traditional Chinese and Korean.

• Fixed an issue where DLC items could become unequipped after reloading the game.

This update introduces additional improvements focused on Echo usability, inventory clarity, Spell Tree readability, Preparation Menu functionality, and overall gameplay stability. It also includes fixes for progression issues, spell behavior, equipment visuals, interaction responsiveness, and player-state issues related to traversal and animations.

• Spells in the Preparation Menu now display their Cooldown

• Spell requirements in the Preparation Menu are now displayed in red when requirements are not met

• Updated the Preparation Menu and Spell Tree to display current Cooldown and Mana Cost values alongside a detailed breakdown of modifiers in parentheses

• Added an explanation sheet to the Spell Tree menu

• Players can no longer begin a new game until both a Class and Clan have been selected

• Fixed a visual issue with spell cooldowns that could incorrectly make spells appear available while still on cooldown

• Fixed an issue where spell descriptions in the Spell Tree and Preparation Menu could fail to properly update Mana Cost values when equipping items with Attunement stats or when level requirements were not met

• Fixed an issue where Spell Mana Cost could incorrectly display values such as 20 (20+0)

• Added a new page to Weapon and Talisman descriptions in the Equipment and Inventory menus that displays equipped Echoes

• The Echo information page for Weapons and Talismans now displays which Echo Types can be equipped. If an item cannot equip Echoes, it now properly displays “No Echo Slot”

• In the Preparation Menu, Weapon and Talisman Item Cards now display descriptions for equipped Echoes

• Added fixes to the Echo Upgrade Menu navigation, allowing players to move directly between Type A and Type E Echoes using previous/next navigation

• Type E Echoes can no longer be upgraded

• Echo Cards no longer display Tier information for Type E Echoes

• Equipment and Inventory grids no longer display empty item slots (excluding empty Stigmata Health/Mana slots)

• When consuming the final quantity of an item, the item is now properly removed from the inventory (excluding Stigmata Health/Mana)

• Fixed an issue where the Forget Prompt in the Feline Tree could remain stuck on screen until the game was restarted

• Fixed an issue where active status effect indicators could disappear from the UI after reloading a save, despite the effects remaining active

• Fixed an issue where Weapon information in the Equipment Menu could incorrectly display Ability name, Mana, and Balance values

• Fixed an issue where Weapons with Weapon Abilities would fail to display their abilities in Shops

• Fixed an issue where Armor Set descriptions would fail to display correctly in Shops

• Fixed an issue where Weapon Ability descriptions in Shops could incorrectly display empty slots as "Ability SlotIndex"

• Fixed an issue with the Blacksmith that could leave players locked inside the menu

• Fixed an issue that allowed players to Teleport or use Light Shrooms while airborne, causing the player character to remain stuck in a falling animation until the game was restarted

• Fixed an issue where the Special Inventory could incorrectly cast normal items if its animation failed while using a gamepad

• Fixed an issue where the Iceborn spell could only be cast once when using its associated perk

• Fixed an issue where Buff Spell Perks would not function correctly

• Fixed an issue where loading a save while unarmed could lead to animation locks

• Fixed an issue where players could sometimes be unable to interact with the Corrupted Kristal despite already completing Zaza’s quest

• Fixed an issue where players could become stuck in dialogue conversations

• Fixed an issue where Ove’s cutscene could incorrectly play repeatedly in certain situations

• Fixed an issue where Kota Fire Starter Fire Clouds were not properly damaging the player

• Fixed an issue where Haunt visual effects could persist indefinitely instead of being removed properly

• Fixed an issue where Nisargan, Myrtunan, Tandaran, and Haggard Alms effects were not functioning correctly

• Fixed an issue that allowed Weapon Enchantments to stack on a single weapon when swapping weapons mid-animation

• NPCs can no longer receive status effects

• Spell damage against factions now functions correctly

• Fixed an issue that could allow players to climb down from certain rooftops as though they were ropes

• Fixed an issue that allowed Aerial Takedowns to be performed on enemies at higher elevations than intended

• Fixed an issue where players could become unable to move after being hit by a boulder while Wall Grab was active

• Acquiring the Labyrinth Journal or any of the Prayers now automatically begins the Echoes in the Dark quest

• Fixed a rare issue where players might not properly receive the Wall Run skill after progressing through the related quest. This should now also be corrected for affected save files

• Added fixes for multiple equipment clipping issues

• Fixed an issue that caused Claws to appear pitch black in the Character Creation menu

• Fixed an issue where opening the Clan Selector in Character Creation could incorrectly force players to reselect their spell even when no Clan change was made

• Fixed an issue where the Finalize/Discard Changes popup in Character Creation could occasionally become stuck on screen

• Fixed an issue where the player character’s underwear body could incorrectly change from male to female after death

• Fixed several locations in Nisar that could allow unintended progression skips

• Fixed an issue where enemies in upstairs rooms could incorrectly aggro and become target-lockable

• Fixed, reviewed, and corrected display issues across 6,000+ Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR) strings

• Fixed, reviewed, and corrected display issues across 6,000+ Simplified Chinese strings

• Fixed positioning issues within Settings while playing on Steam Deck
