Why does almost nobody like Vert ?

I wouldn't go so far as to say pales in comparison, but I do agree somewhat. She doesn't quite seem to possess the same charm, nor stand out the way that the others do. She's not a poor character by any means, and is certainly likable. However, she just seems to lack that certain "something" that the other girls have which gives them their great appeal.

I think Vert is actually the most waifu material of all the main goddesses. Neptune is fun and cute, but also a bit childish. They don't pass 40,000 in their first week, if you count people waiting for price drops and people buying used games, the player count probably surpasses 40k.

That said, there's definitely some manipulation going on. 40k first place vs 26k second place is a massive difference, considering blanc isn't even that popular compared to neptune or noire if you look at things like amount of artworks and figures. IF being that high is doubtful as well (although she did get her own game so maybe it's possible?). Plutia's high rank is probably because re;birth 3 was released around that time in japan.

That and the fact that all of Vert's otaku habits hold up a mirror to the more rabid parts of the fanbase that you really wouldn't like to see yourself reflected in.

Coincidentally, it's also that very present part of the series' fanbase that always partakes in events such as polls and as such Vert always comes in (near to) dead last.

While Flat is Justice, I like Vert she is a true gamer girl, what's not to like about that.

I think it may be the that she's the best girl. Gamer, well mannered, with insticts for caring, pretty, can balance life and work, pretty, has a lot of (online) friends... That's a bit intimidating.

Other CPU have an "approach gateway".
- The biggest one is Noire who has no social skills so it would be easy to get her monopoly for friendship.
- Blanc is a bit similar, not a social butterfly. But she is more approachable thanks to a bit of shyness and not being such businesswoman.
- Neptune is a meme lord. Funny people are not scary, but approachable.
- Nepgear has her passion and insecurities that open her up.
- Uni is so obviously vulnerable, after getting past first line of defence she's totally open.
- Plutia isn't very demanding. Just let her sleep.In case of Sadie, well, for masochists it would be easy what they want.
- Uzume is a such obvious poser, just let her feel like what she poses to be like even when she cracks.

But Vert has none of that. She's not approachable at all. Unless you're a potential sister, then she will approach YOU.

As for the question, she is pretty popular, she ranked 6th place in the last poll, above Nepgear, below Plutia,

Every argument Ive seen against her seems to be just people overly reaching for things
