Why does almost nobody like Vert ?

I might have a biaised opinion, but she's the only one who didn't get a game, i never heard her scoring high in the popularity polls, and i rarely see people even mentionning her in waifu threads.

I think Vert is actually the most waifu material of all the main goddesses. Neptune is fun and cute, but also a bit childish. Noire is a tsundere, therefore she is not honest about her feelings, calls you "baka" for futile things. Blanc is kind of boring, unless you enjoy reading light novels with her all day. So Vert wins by default. Plus, in the drama CDs, Vert is the only one who actually calls you "anata" (which means "dear" or "darling").

In any case, according to this poll[www.compileheart.com], Vert is actually liked, unfortunately not as much as the other main goddesses.

If i would go out from my side Vert trusts her "size" pretty much and thinks that "size" goes over everything. Also i find she kind of just "lives next by" during her leading of Leanbox.

She also is more a type of char that supports the others from the background by giving advices and stuff but rarely wanna come into the middlepoint of anything. Maybe it´s even that she kind of seems to be "to normal" cus she hasn´t a real "2nd face" that makes her special like the other Goddesses.

The reason she's not getting her own game is because only the Top Character of their popularity poll gets their own game, which were Noire and Blanc (with Neptune complaining every time, of course). Eventually if she gets 1st place somehow, she'll get her own game (or when they decide to make her own game without seeing the polls).

Using the popularity poll is most likely for budget reasons, the spin-off titles are all still low budget (medium max, even MegaNep while having a higher budget doesn't seem like it has too much, either), so using the 1st Place character is their safest bet.

But well, me and my friend, we both liked Vert among other characters, she has a rather unique "style", in my opinion. Using Japanese voice, she speaks using very formal speaking style and tone, which made some of her dialogues really "interesting".

Except for the fact that she's heavily into the "Boys Love" genre and would in all likelihood rather cheer on two men in a relationship rather than entering a relationship herself.

As someone mentioned earlier, while Vert certainly is lovely and has her charming points, she does seem more like the big sister type than the wifely type.

As an aside, the series itself kind of jokingly nominated "best waifu" already. One of Neptune's Chirper quotes from the previous games was, "Honestly, I think my sister is really hot waifu material."

Well in this game I feel like the other 3 ladies had some real standout moments where they showed off their best traits, heroism, unconditional love, etc.

Vert DID show off some of that but I don't know... It didn't feel as impactful for some reason? Maybe because they paired her with S-Sha who was purposely emotionless?

I like her, but I feel similarly OP - she's likeable but doesn't really seem to have that much to her compared to the other CPUs. I mean, ok, 'tsundere' 'flat chest complex' 'memelord' aren't exactly the depths of fine art, but each of the other CPUs has depth, multiple facets aside from that, whereas Vert kinda just has games+boobs+Nepgear, and the fetish thing as an occasional joke.

It might take a CPU candidate for Leanbox to draw out other sides of her I think, or something similar - S-Sha definitely didn't do it, though again individually I like S-Sha well enough, she just had no chemistry whatsoever with Vert. Or... with anyone else, really, just 'not interested' 'oh but I'll help you guys anyways lol'

Maybe it's just a Leanbox thing. Amazing character designs, but characterization that kinda dumps on it? idk. At this point it's sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy / catch-22 though. Vert isn't as popular, Vert gets less focus, Vert never really gets more popular. SOMETHING'S gotta break that cycle.

That combo big sister/waifu vibe is real though.

She may be my least favorite CPU but I do like her. Beside for one area she doesn't really stand out as much.
