Steam or PS4?
Apart from modding, I was wondering if there's any differences between the Steam port and the original PS4 version?

For ReBirth trilogy the differences are tremendous as you get to enjoy 1080p/60FPS compared to lower resolution from the Vita version.

However for VII, the PS4 also outputs 1080p as well. Not sure if the game also runs in 60FPS though.

So all in all, do you recommend getting this game on the Steam over PS4? Or vice versa?

The game is $19.99 USD on steam right now. Also this game is not a resource hog. So if you have a decent laptop you can play it wherever as long no one can see the screen and don't mind low FPS. :andm:

It's full price again.

The PS4 and PC versions are both 1080p 60FPS per second except the PS4 version will run flawlessly no matter what while the PC port might give some problems to some. Get the PC version if you want 4K/mod support but other than that they are both gimped compared to the Eastern versions with EXE's doing pitiful damage and earning far less EXP for performing 100-hit combos.
