I can't seem to have kept the script though...
This seems pretty pointless anyways since leveling to 999 will be the least of worries when it comes to Senmuu Labyrinth. 2 Hidden Treasure requirements are defeating all enemies within the dungeon and I doubt a walker tool will help with that.
Unless this thing is just for leveling if you're too lazy to remember the path to Big Metal Dogoo.
Used something similar as AHK as well. Initial script was much simpler though, but gotta make a GUI for user-friendliness.
And put comments in the code. That's actually the most painful part.
There are incentives to level up to 999, including the colosseum, and, in a much simpler outlook, the completion aspect (having all characters to 999) for the RPG purists out there.
I'm personally too lazy to level up all the way to 999 now, but if it helps a person or two, then it's good enough.
For a software developer, the fun part is making the product, not using it :)
It's difficult to level up because IFI is too lazy to implement the JP patch which will never happen. I honestly don't think anyone would bother leveling up to 999 legit since there's already evidence of users using cheat engines to accomplish that feat or if they have dozens of hours to spare.
Whatever makes you happy I guess. Just wish someone would PATCH the game to make 100-hit combos worthwhile and EXE Drives that actually do proper damage.
Oh and what's the music you're using in that video? I really like it.
Yes, the White Orb (if I recalled the name correctly), is a prerequisite in this case.
For the soundtrack, it comes from Chaos Legion, a PS2/PC game from 2003.
