Coming soon: Neptunia Walker Tool - Making your Senmuu life a bit easier
Still a work in progress, but the release should be here soon.

What this tool does:
- Walks your character from the Senmuu Labyrinth entrance to the Big Metal Dogoo's spawn location

What this tool does not:
- Everything else, including doing the actual "combat" part

Why make this tool?
Farming up to 999 is a massively time consuming task, and to make things worse, not only does the Senmuu Labyrinth lacks a minimap, but the Steam version of the game doesn't have the 75% XP bonus either. Despite some players reaching to the dev/publisher, it doesn't look like the situation has changed.

So there you have it. This tool will just save you time in making your way down to the last floor. It's not much, but this still saves you precious minutes (hours?) in the long term.

How does it work?
The tool sends simulated keyboard strokes to the game, making it as if you were moving the character. It doesn't alter the game's files, memory, or whatever else in any way.
Windows OS only.

Will the program's code be open-source?
Yes it will. I'll publish it on GitHub[github.com] when it's ready, hopefully by next week at the latest.
For added security, all commits will be GPG signed, and all binaries digitally signed as well (albeit with a self-signed certificate).

Is this allowed?
Honestly, given that the program is "non-intrusive" in the fact that it doesn't alter anything (unlike most other tools/mods), I believe it's more than OK to actually use it. It doesn't help with the combat phase either, so it's not a trainer or something like that.

Will make a new topic when it's ready. Needed to do a bit of teasing to actually motivate myself into finishing this. :IF_VII:

I did pretty much the same thing with AHK, Just a simple recording of the way I took through the dungeon (requiring the White Orb for obvious reasons). I ended up never using it though after testing it once to check if it worked, since there's absolutely no point in leveling to 999 because of a lack of high-level content.

I can't seem to have kept the script though...

This seems pretty pointless anyways since leveling to 999 will be the least of worries when it comes to Senmuu Labyrinth. 2 Hidden Treasure requirements are defeating all enemies within the dungeon and I doubt a walker tool will help with that.

Unless this thing is just for leveling if you're too lazy to remember the path to Big Metal Dogoo.

Used something similar as AHK as well. Initial script was much simpler though, but gotta make a GUI for user-friendliness.
And put comments in the code. That's actually the most painful part.

There are incentives to level up to 999, including the colosseum, and, in a much simpler outlook, the completion aspect (having all characters to 999) for the RPG purists out there.

I'm personally too lazy to level up all the way to 999 now, but if it helps a person or two, then it's good enough.

For a software developer, the fun part is making the product, not using it :)

It's difficult to level up because IFI is too lazy to implement the JP patch which will never happen. I honestly don't think anyone would bother leveling up to 999 legit since there's already evidence of users using cheat engines to accomplish that feat or if they have dozens of hours to spare.

Whatever makes you happy I guess. Just wish someone would PATCH the game to make 100-hit combos worthwhile and EXE Drives that actually do proper damage.

Cool! But wouldn't the monsters still attack you?

Oh and what's the music you're using in that video? I really like it. :Bsha_VII:

Yes, the White Orb (if I recalled the name correctly), is a prerequisite in this case.

For the soundtrack, it comes from Chaos Legion, a PS2/PC game from 2003.
