How to Import Saves?

It was said by the devs multiple times we can import our kongregate saves but I am in the game and the load feature has all blank save slots. Any ideas?

Hey! Sorry I should have made a post about this. So we are still planning to have some sort of transfer game save from Kong here, but after we did some research we found it wasn't allowed to have purchased diamonds from another platform show up on Steam. That would have meant any diamonds you paid money for wouldn't show up in the game here, so we decided to hold off on launching that feature. I will make a post as soon as we get it working though. There are some options we have but for now we wanted to put it out there and just see how the game worked on a new platform. Certain things are different in this version too, so if you've already completed Bearverly in the Kong version it won't match up here ;)

Writing is down doesnt even matter. Youre playfab ID doesnt change. So long as youre playing the same save file.
All youd have to do is reload the game on Kong and check it

I believe other kong games on steam have had similar issues - thanks for letting us know.

I was not buy any dimonds on Kong, and adding opcion to now but whit inforation that u will not have dimont u but, so don't scare my to transter. porpobly many who asloe never buy any want to transter.

How about a manually triggered save transfer feature that does the following to the save before importing it:
0. Explains to the user exactly what it is going to do and why, and assures people that their kong save will remain on kong even after import.
1. ungild all hobbies
2. unbuy all permanent diamond bonuses
3. sets diamonds to the amount you should have based on your current achievements alone, in other words it deletes all paid diamonds keeping only the free diamonds.

You will still have your existing kong save with those extra diamonds you purchased (if you purchased), and if you didn't make a purchase or were willing to leave those diamonds behind then you could still get your save on steam.

Still waiting for this transfer ability. I've had enough fun with this game that I'm willing to buy $5 to $10 worth of diamonds but until I can transfer my save file I'm stuck in this limbo where if I buy it on Kongregate they won't transfer and if I buy them on Steam then that save file will get overwritten when the transfer happens.

And thats all assuming a transfer happens at all. If it doesn't I'm better off just abandoning my Kongregate file and starting fresh on Steam with some diamonds to boost me but since I don't know for sure I'm stuck with a rough odds choice of wasting my time no matter what platform I play.

<< Um the transfer was always stated to be an optional thing if and when it happened. It'd be very silly for them to randomly overwrite all our data here now.

I mean I say just bite the sausage and start afress on Steam really. There's going to be some content here that can't be shown on Kongregate, and to be honest it's really not going to take you 40 years to get back to where you were.


It's not like it was back in February where you had to wait weeks to get past L30 hobbies.

I am pretty sure he is saying the overwriting would happen because he will make it intentionally, because he has so much done on the kong version that he would rather transfer it.

@Pennwick the transfer was planned, but was canceled because steam terms forbid the importing of gems bought on other services, like kong.
there is no transfer and probably won't be a transfer because of that legal issue.

However, new version gives you the prestige time multiplier every time you get a level with a girl, even if you already have the achievement. so you can just play for 2 weeks or so and get such a huge time multiplier that it won't be an issue anymore
