As far as I recall, Pamu was a stretch goal in the Kickstarter and done fully with the knowledge of the Crush Crush team. So... not a rip-off, a reference/crossover.

We did a collab with them to get Pamu in their game ^^ They're super nice developers and we loved their game idea, so we helped promote/get people to their kickstarter in exchange for Pamu getting a cameo! She's voiced by the same girl who voiced her in Crush Crush. Go check out their game!! It's awesome :)
