How to install mods?
So, everyone is going to think i've never looked up anything on my own, but i have.
Ive gone to %appdata%, and it worked, but there was no Halo Wars folder.
So, there is no place to put the mod manifest.
But, that also means theres no game config!
So, anyone know how to fix this?
I've unistalled and reinstalled the game so many times it hurts.

Try starting up the game first and then look.

I've also started a match and checked
I've checked withought starting a match
And i've checked after playing the game for 20 hrs

Problem is, I've done all of that. I've made hidden files visible, gone to appdata, all that stuff. Is simply does not exist. That is my issue. And no matter how many times I reinstall, and play it for a couple hours, it still isn't there. I don't have other drives. I've followed the instructions given by videos and written guides alike. The folder simply does not exist, and I don't think I can just create one.

Okay I need help. I've followed numerous tutorials and I've combed through forums like this one and for the life of me I cannot get mods to work at all on my PC. If anyone wants to help me please message me on steam or Discord SpaceBronanas #6931

C:\Users\"USER"\AppData\Local\Halo Wars

you are in C:\Users\"USER"\AppData\Roaming which is the wrong folder

you can also find mods on MODDB or you can goto NexusMods [www.nexusmods.com]

I have the same problem with the manifest mod, but it's the opposite, I installed the mod for all the units but when I want to change the mod or I want to remove the mod from all the units I can't play anymore, the loading screen crashes and it gets out of the game.

That might be a save file issue. In which case you'd need to replace your games save file with someone's else's. I believe that issue happens when the game is loaded up on any mod without being loaded first in vanilla. I could be wrong though, but I'd get someone's else's save file and replace yours to see if that's the issue.
