The zoom is to near - Unplayable

I absolutly do not understand this I have set the resolution to 4k and tryed also full hd but the zoom is so near.. If i go to my base i nearly just see the base on my whole 50 inch tv. Wtf is this?

In normal strategy games your zoom is far far more away... and you can see much more on your screen. Specially in strategy games you need to see much because it's easier in strategy games. I never saw something and I can not understand the positive reviews. I'm sorry.

is there any solution to fix this? this makes the game absolutly unpalyable!

Edit: I buy the game to support halo on Steam but If i can not evne play it.. I need to refund.

Bit of an overreaction. have you tried obviously zooming out a bit more with alt+mouse wheel? Or perhaps setting in the controls option menu the default zoom further away?
If a patch won't tweak it more, then modders will definitely look into it in the future as well.

Are you forgetting this game came out in 2009? No one had 4K in 2009 so that wouldn't make a difference. And it's not that bad..... are you sure you haven't zoomed in? haha

you are able to read or? I did not say the graphic is bad. I know thats a remaster edition with a graphic update. But the ZOOM is my problem. So I guess there is no option to zoom out more?

Hold the alt button and scroll the most wheel. Also, hold alt and move the mouse left/right to rotate the camera.

The keybindings in the option menu even tell you it's alt+scroll wheel to zoom in and out.

RTFM. You didn't even try to read the Options where it's written that zooming is possible.

amg alt + mousewheel let you increase the zoom and zoom out again but it does not make the view far away. And this I allready found on google and the forum. There is giving something liek a search function.

Ok so I am right that you can not make the view more far away as the standart sets offerigng you?

thanks but this does not make you see more because if you do this you can zoom in and can zoom out but not more as it was at the beginning. Thank you anways

you can zoom out dude, learn how to read the manual OR the controlls in the tutorial wich actualy explains this stuff to you.PLUS: we who own the Xbox version did play this game fully with that starting zoomlevel (most of us, dunno if it is actualy changable on konsole i played it through with the standart)

The game does suck in regards to its inability to zoom out fully, even at max zoom out. A base still consumes the entire screen area. And if you don't perfect center over your base, a portion is off screen and you have to move the map around just to see and use the side of your base obscured by the camera being microscopically close. At least half the map, if not the whole map, should be able to be zoomed out and visible on the screen.
