Let me tell you the real truth. It's not the game. It's Steam. That is the DRM if any that you should be worried about. I just tested by restarting steam in offline mode and it wouldn't pick up my controller. Go ahead and try it. Let me know how that works out for you. I'm using a ps4 controller. it also affects steam controllers. Not sure about 360.

The first time I tested it with my ps4 controller wirelessly the controller wouldn't even start. Then I connected to steam again and reconnected my controller to get it going. Then I went into offline mode and the force feedback wouldn't work. It does it with all steam games though. So it's not the game. It's Steam that added some more bugs.

I don't go to places like crackwatch. I pay for my games.

Crackwatch isn't a den for the actual cracks it just tells you what denuvo is and stuff.

Saying DRM has no negative side effects is plain wrong. Even for the consumer it does.

The slow down you can fix by ALT tabbing after the game starts. I run it in Big Picture though so it's kind of tricky because you have to press alt tab and still hold alt. Then there will be a couple little game windows and just make sure WRC 6 is on the right. When the game comes back there will be no lag provided you have good hardware.

The main problem that I see is a slight memory leak where it keeps trying to allocate memory.

So

-game launch

-let it finish and then alt tab and just come back. Should run very smooth.

Denuvo evolves over the time. Maybe the performance problems started to occur when they had to harden it after cr.... for the first games with it appeared. You can say "thx" to the hackers that forced them to make the protection harder.

Bruh this game isn't good enough to steal, Especially when Dirt Rally exists and is actually a good sim.

Valid point, but still... Isn't it unfair to those who paid for this game? And there will be new WRC soon, so why not just ditch the D from this one (and prolly don't put it to the WRC 7, but that is asking too much from these devs).

And they have to be Online to play. Don't you know some people have internet issues or their power goes out and they want to have a game to play on their laptop (If it can run it) before it dies.

They won't simply because they've already been down that road with WRC 5. From a logical standpoint. If someone actually had a working cracked version of the game why would they complain about it here and beg the devs to remove it? So for now I'm calling it bs. It's just a cryout to get something for free and will most likely be laughed at and ignored.
