P.S.: And before you accuse me of pirating, look at my profile, k?
"Well, pirates have the better version of the game now. Ability to play totally offline without any hassle with constant DRM checks. That is what he is saying. Don't assume he "stole" it right away like that."
So you are saying that he bought it and that's why he wants the DRM removed?
This isn't GTA 4 you know. Anyone that had that game actually knows what bad DRM is. WRC 6, I haven't seen any problems with the Steam version. Now you cheapskates that get it from nefarious places and complain about the DRM. That's just pitiful.
I don't know if you know this or not. But DRM was created with pirates in mind. So, why do you feel that it is logical that they would remove it? Even better, I would love to read about how you think that it's not stealing. Go ahead and elaborate on that.
You think that not being able to play offline isn't a problem? Well, maybe for you it's not. We weren't complaining against DRM before, because it was developers/publishers decision to put DRM in and it worked out well (i guess), but now that it is cracked, there's just no point for it to be there. I really thought that I would actually do a service for the paying customers by complaining about DRM that protects... NOTHING as of right now.
But people like you even proceeds to defend it AFTER being cracked. Wow.
If you didn't have any problem with the cracked version you wouldn't be coming here to the Steam forums to complain about the DRM.
Let me throw a clue your way.
Look up how game devlopers deal with pirated games on youtube. They do have some fun with people that don't want to pay. Whether the cracked version is better or not. How ever you want to twist it. They will not give into you. Sorry to break it to you.
100% truth. Defending it now is pointless. They can either go the good route and remove it or update it and just look plain anti consumer.
You forget these people probably purchase the game, Then crack it for people to either use illegally which is wrong. Or for people who may purchase it like i intend to do then to crack it to use as i see fit offline or online.
It will never be right no matter how you twist it.
