3.3 gb download/update

Steam is qeued to download 3.3 gb of something from Dark Crusade. Hadn't read anything about an update. Is anyone else having this? Thanks.

@ Im Spiel, i forgot to mention that I also did my w7 updates, maybe that will help you too, don't know what os you use, but you can always give it a shot?

i just downloaded the game and the file was 3.3gb in size. I think it was just steam moving the game to a new type of format

I'm still in contact with the Sega Customer support (seeing how Sega is the new publisher for Relic Games). So far, I've gone through various steps of regular troubleshooting (updating drivers, disabling background programs, etc. ), yet nothing seems to work. I dare to say that the problem lies in the update that was released recently.

Looks like too many of the German players have this freakin problem. I´m German too and have it too ;( .

an alle deutschen spieler bei mir läuft das spiel wieder ich habe einfach die datein aus dem dawn of war gold verzeichnis ins DC verzeichnis gezogen (nicht überschreiben) und dann lief es wieder es ist zwar nicht alles in ordnung z.b. die sprachsounds aber es ist spielbar .. mir macht es spaß und mit ein paar kleinen bugs kann ich leben besser als nichts :)

No fix for the German Dark Crusade till to day? I am Spanish and could not buy the English version because I live in Germany.

British here but also in Germany - same problem for me but it worked again - you have to check properties and put it back on German in the language tab - then it should download like 500sthsth mb and it should work again - you can't get around the German files but at least the game is back up and running - for some reason it did put my game back on english so no language file updates was the problem

As mentioned before, German players (or people in Germany) can only play the game with the German language files used, as the USK (supposedly the organization responsible for video game ratings in Germany but actually the direct spawn of Satan) requires the game to be censored, including the audio files.
