This is the only map I hate in Dark Crusade. Usually the enemy already has 6 servitors when I have just 2 or 3 of them.... even when I rush it.

The 10 Servitors always start in the same locations. So long as you know where, you can rush them immediately and win easily. there are 4 servitorrs near your base and 1 being right next to your HQ. I always went to attack space port as long as it doesnt belong to Tau.

I play as Tau and will this time just build some quick stealth units instead of building up a base for more advanced units and vehicles.

edit: depending on your honor guard, it can be incredibly fast as Tau. ideally, you want 3 units total, two of which jumpers. a great start is if your tau commander has the jump pack wargear, and you have at least one of the honor guard XV15 stealth teams. in that case you can probably end the map in less than 2 minutes.

edit: a note of caution on the image following the link posted by Kasrkin84; the image is missing one servitor spawn, and a few of the locations are off. (perhaps the image was of an older patch?)

for the most part it's pretty similar to the image from lparchive, but three of the differences are rather important if you want to rush the map. :-)

I did this yesterday for the first time in ages, my first run on hard (as IG, because why not) and I was surprised by how easily I could rush it based on memory easily getting a 7th one to my base just after the 6th before the mission ended. I'd expected it to be so difficult since it was hard but it was one of my easiest runs, even though it was against tau. I think my psyched was detecting the stealth suits (I think he detects infiltration?). Its always been one for my favourites in terms of difficulty, but its difficult to establish a foothold in preparation for defence.

Yeah, well, Liabrarian detects stealth units but for example it cant be in 2 different locations at once. Its not that hard really, all you do is build probe next to a strategic point or relic and they get revealed. No other reace than Necron charge your HQ or teleport there to get your servs out....hate that.

Thank god for you. I had just lost the map being only able to find 5 of them in time before I got absolutely overwhelmed, but this made it quick and easy. The only one that wasn't there, was the 3rd one, but it was close by along with another one, so I grabbed them real quick and ended it without much effort.
