Co-op is stuck on attempting to join

Me and my friend are trying to play co-op but I'm stuck on attempting to join game, how do I fix this?

Same thing happened to me. Just had the other person host the game, and that seemed to work. Try that, otherwise you're outta luck.

if its stuck,you need to have the person that wants to join restart their game.when the second player is back in his game,spam invites up to 10 times,if no invite comes trough repeat the restart process. it will work but it`s a pain in the rectum to get it there
