I got a ps3 Tournament edition SFIV fight stick and can't seem to get it to work with this game.

I believe the game knows it is there because in the control settings it shows me Keyboard, 360 pad, and Fightstick. I just can't get it to use the fight stick for some reason. Anyone have some advice?

Have you set the controls yet? you need to set the x y axis and buttons in config, other wise it is a dead stick.

So when you pressed the button to place a key for your axis you moved the stick up down left and right correct ? on each of the inputs ?

Going to try to reinstall it. When I click to change the axis it doesn't do anything but yeah I move the stick around.

Well, just got done with reinstalling and it still shows it as PC USB WIRED STICK 8838. Still not responding to any input.

Apparently you need a certian usb controller...Madcats living up to there reputation here...

Do you have a NVIDIA video card? I've hear that that can be the problem for your PS3 stick not to work with the game.

Does windows respond to the inputs in the joystic config tool in the control panel? If it does you should be able to use Joy2key or Xpadder to map the controler to the keyboard and set the game to keyboard.

Don't you need a special software like MotionJoy to get any playstation controller working on PC? (Since it is a PS3 arcade stick, it should still act as a PS3 controller) Your stick would only work out of the box if it was an X360 tournament stick.

Anyway, I got a station setup with MotionJoy to support PC, X360, PS3 controllers so everybody can be happy using any kind of gamepad, arcade stick they want. My best bet would be to get that software running, Microsoft does not support competitior input devices on its own.

my ps3 round 1 te fight stick works with my pc.... all the butons and the stick work in windows...... I've never been able to get my Round 2 TE PS3 Fight Stick to work on my PC. The Xbox one works, but you must need someting else for the PS3 stick to work.
